The building is a renovation of a pre-1940s house, strategically located at a junction. It comprises four floors, featuring a delightful courtyard and several terraces tucked amidst abundant lush greenery. What sets this building apart is its distinctive choice of materials.
It cleverly incorporates reclaimed wood paneling to establish a strong connection with the surrounding trees, while also showcasing the lightweight steel structure both internally and externally. The material manifestation of little experiments and details of projects that are realized in Pragrup can be witnessed in the design of the studio in various instances.
The activities are organized into distinct planes and playful volumes. Abundant louvered window systems cover vast areas, facilitating ample natural ventilation and reducing reliance on mechanical systems. Coupled with numerous light wells and skylights, these features create an efficient studio space. Additionally, the terrace doubles as an amphitheater, providing a venue for art and entertainment events.
