A comprehensive overhaul was undertaken by the existing university to establish an iconic structure. The previous structures had disintegrated over time, lacking a cohesive master plan. The new vision aimed to unify the campus as one, incorporating existing buildings through renovation.
One significant addition was a 2-floor parking complex that allowed for non-surface level parking. This strategic design freed up the perimeter ground to be transformed into a landscaped play area.
This new institution was designed to be versatile, offering
opportunities for people to engage in elective courses and
recreational activities. Facilities included four basketball
courts, multiple auditoriums, play areas, and a food court.
The "Herald" like Court, holds significance as it
metaphorically connects the institution to a higher realm.
Situated at the heart of the campus, it is an enclosed yet
open-to-sky area, providing a central gathering space.
Classrooms and other spaces, such as libraries and creative
labs, were elevated above the ground and housed various
faculties such as law, management, design, and other spaces.
Each space was carefully crafted, with courtyards, skylight
spaces, and distinct quadrants, offering diverse and enriching
experiences while boasting a 2400-seat auditorium and a
1200-seat amphitheater, along with lobbies for various
activities.
Each wing was completed, occupied, and made operational in a
sequential manner. This systematic approach streamlined the
overall construction process, rendering the project distinct
and well-organized.
